Building Vidara Media with AI

Vidara Media is a startup on a mission to make video advertising accessible to SMEs. The founding team partnered with hiai to put AI at the heart of their process โ€” rapidly prototyping, designing and building their website and end-to-end publishing platform.

The Challenge

Online video advertising is fragmented. Small and medium-sized businesses have to navigate a maze of platforms โ€” from Instagram and TikTok to YouTube, Disney+ and Amazon Prime โ€” each with their own tools, formats and buying processes. Vidara Media set out to change that by unifying social and connected TV into a single, intuitive place for businesses to upload videos and launch campaigns across every major platform. To get to market quickly, the founding team needed a partner who could move at startup speed without compromising on quality.

Our Approach

We partnered with Vidara's founding team to design and build the product end-to-end, embedding AI at every stage of the process. Using Figma's AI tools we rapidly explored, prototyped and iterated on the brand, marketing site and platform UX. We then turned those prototypes into a fully working system using Cursor and Claude to accelerate engineering โ€” from the public website through to the campaign creation, upload and publishing workflows that power Vidara under the hood.

The Outcome

Vidara launched a polished website and a working end-to-end video publishing platform in a fraction of the time a traditional build would have taken. The product gives SMEs a single, easy place to create campaigns that appear across social and connected TV, and the team has an AI-native foundation to keep shipping from. Vidara is a glimpse of a new generation of startup โ€” one that puts AI at the heart of its processes to get to market faster and with more confidence.
